Sign up for your free AWM Student Chapter Membership!

 

Students (undergraduate and graduate) in SWiM may sign up for a free student membership to the AWM (Association for Women in Mathematics).  Just follow these directions to sign up for your membership to the national organization. 

 

1. Go to  http://www.awm-math.org/newmemberapp/.

2. On the application page select ‘individual membership’ which leads you to the next step of the application.

3. From there, select ‘Student Chapter Membership’ from the drop down box of membership types.

4. The next step will ask you for your basic contact information as well as the name of the student chapter you are a member of. Please select the appropriate chapter from the drop down list (Colorado School of Mines).

5. The rest of the steps request more detailed contact and demographic information, you will be  prompted to review your information and submit your application on the last step.

6. After you submit your application, you will see a confirmation page stating that your membership application has been processed.

**If you signed up last year you should receive an email with instructions on how to "renew" your membership for this year.
